Narcy Novack Convicted of Killing Husband, Mother

Narcy Novack has been convicted of murdering husband Ben Novack, Jr.

A New York jury convicted her of murder and other charges Wednesday in the killing of her millionaire Fountainebleu Hotel heir husband and his mother.

Narcy's brother, Cristobal Veliz, also was found guilty of murder, racketeering, domestic violence, stalking, money laundering and witness tampering.

The White Plains, N.Y., convictions relate to July 2009's brutal Fort Lauderdale, Fla., killings of Ben Novack Jr. and his mother Bernice by two hit men.

Ones hired by the brother and sister, evidently. The killers later confessed and became the prosecution's key witnesses in the Narcy Novack trial.

Narcy, a former stripper from Ecuador, was accused of being motivated by jealousy after finding out her husband was having an affair, officials allege.

Fearing he'd divorce her and leave her broke, she killed him and his mother in hopes of gaining millions of dollars from his will, prosecutors alleged.

Narcy and her brother face life in prison at their sentencing November 1.
