MIAMI, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Matt Ryan threw for 220 yards and a touchdown Friday while helping the Atlanta Falcons dominate Miami in a 23-6 exhibition victory.

The Falcons had to settle for three Matt Bryant field goals and a 9-3 lead at halftime, but Ryan threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Roddy White in the third period.

Backup Atlanta quarterback Dominique Davis added a 39-yard scoring toss to Tim Toone in the final quarter.

Atlanta won its first exhibition game in three tries.

Miami rookie Ryan Tannehill, named the Dolphins' starter for the regular season, completed 11-of-27 passes for 112 yards and an interception. The Dolphins remained winless in exhibition action.

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (AP) ? It's safe to say that until recently Republican Paul Ryan had never visited a lemonade stand with a dozen Secret Service agents in tow. And he almost certainly hadn't discussed the tightness of his shirts during a national radio interview. Or been asked to play "word association" by a TV reporter.

Yes, it's a whole new world for the Wisconsin congressman.

In ways both large and small, life has changed for Ryan in the two weeks since Mitt Romney named him as his running mate. Before that, Ryan was an up-and-coming but little-known House member still untested on the national stage.

Now, he's a GOP vice presidential hopeful whose days are a blur of rallies, fundraising events, local television interviews and plane flights, during which he reads news accounts of the campaign and pores over policy briefing papers on his iPad. Some things, of course, haven't changed. He still adheres to his strict exercise regimen each morning ? only these days he does cardio in the hotel fitness center or works out in his room, instead of the House gym. A single Miller Lite in the evening is his only indulgence.

"Everybody said this would drain me, the road, but it's not. It's great. It actually gives you energy," Ryan told reporters this week on a flight from Virginia to North Carolina, one of a handful of excursions he's made to the press cabin on his plane.

As he campaigns across battleground states in the days leading up to the Republican National Convention, Ryan draws large crowds at his events and is a natural onstage, often appearing more comfortable than Romney before an audience and delivering the campaign's talking points with ease. At a fundraiser in Springfield, Mo., this week, Ryan lent a human touch to the Romney campaign's oft-repeated claim that President Barack Obama likes to promote class warfare by attacking the former Massachusetts governor's wealth.

"When I was a kid growing up working at McDonald's, de-tasseling corn, waiting tables, painting houses, things like that, it never occurred to me that I was stuck in some station, fixed in some class," Ryan told donors. "We shouldn't be preying on people's emotions of fear, envy and anxiety, putting people in a class, dividing people. That's why I don't think this going to work for President Obama."

Ryan also has shown that he knows how to stir up a local crowd.

At a rally in Pittsburgh, he waved a "terrible towel" ? the fan prop of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team, even though Ryan himself is a diehard Green Bay Packers supporter. And after a fundraiser in Raleigh, N.C., Ryan purchased a beverage from a group of neighborhood kids running a lemonade stand as his security detail hovered close by.

To be sure, Ryan does what many politicians do, indulging in the same sorts of verbal sleights of hand.

He criticizes pending defense cuts even though he supported a House budget agreement that would allow such cuts to take place. And Ryan blames Obama for excess spending and government debt even though he voted in favor of several spending programs pushed by former Republican President George W. Bush that helped explode the federal deficit, such as the Medicare prescription drug plan.

Ryan largely avoids national news outlets in favor of local interviews in the most competitive states, in part to reach undecided voters in those states but also to avoid the kind of grilling from national reporters that might take him off message. In Roanoke, Va., he told a reporter for a local outlet that he preferred asparagus to cake and agreed to a session of "word association" that produced a question about fast-food chain Chick-fil-A, which had become the focus of controversy over gay marriage.

"Good chicken," Ryan said.

But the local vs. national press strategy doesn't always work.

Ryan found that out when parrying tough question from a Pittsburgh reporter about his views on abortion and rape in the wake of comments by Rep. Todd Akin, the Missouri Senate candidate who stirred a firestorm when he asserted that victims of "legitimate" rape can physically resist pregnancy.

"Should abortions be available to women who've been raped?" KDKA reporter Jon Delano asked Ryan, who has co-sponsored tough anti-abortion legislation with Akin.

Ryan responded: "Rape is rape."

When he has allowed national outlets to interview him, he's tended to stick to conservative-friendly hosts like Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, who asked Ryan about a host of issues ? including his clothing choices on the road.

"You went from very boxy clothes to the slim fit," Ingraham said. "Those shirts are a little tighter than the usual Paul Ryan shirts. The girls at our studio notice."

"Some of 'em are big and some of 'em fit real well," Ryan said.

Ryan's visits to reporters on his plane have been rare but memorable. He came bearing cookies on one occasion and came another time to bid farewell to a reporter decamping to Vice President Joe Biden's campaign. Reporters thrust microphones in his face each time to pepper him with questions.

"Every time I come back here, are you guys going to always do that?" he asked. "Does it have to be so formal?"

In Ryan's new world, the answer is yes.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) ? Rep. Todd Akin defied the nation's top Republicans and refused to abandon a Senate bid that has been hobbled by fallout over his comments that women's bodies can prevent pregnancies in cases of "legitimate rape."

Akin took his message to network TV morning shows and conservative talk radio shows, declaring GOP leaders were overreacting by insisting he give up his quest to unseat Democrat Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri, and to social media with appeals for donations on his Twitter feed claiming "liberal elites" are trying to push him out of the race.

"I misspoke one word in one sentence on one day, and all of a sudden, overnight, everybody decides, 'Well, Akin can't possibly win,'" he said on a national radio show Tuesday hosted by former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. "Well, I don't agree with that."

Akin predicted he would bounce back from the political crisis threatening his campaign, including a call from presumptive presidential nominee Mitt Romney to leave the race, and capture a seat that is pivotal to Republican hopes of regaining control of the Senate.

He confirmed that Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan also called to ask him to drop out. But Akin reiterated his decision to stand his ground, saying he refused to be bullied.

"It's not right for party bosses to override" the voters of Missouri, Akin said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America" Wednesday. He said he told Ryan that he was thinking things over and that he wants to "do what's right," but that he's not abandoning his race

Nonetheless, he said he would comply with Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus's request that he not attend the convention, which starts Monday.

But his bid faces tall obstacles ? chief among them a lack of money and party support.

In a potential sign of his strategy, Akin appealed Tuesday to Christian evangelicals, anti-abortion activists and anti-establishment Republicans. He said he remains the best messenger to highlight respect for life and liberty that he contends are crumbling under the policies of President Barack Obama.

In a new fundraising appeal Wednesday, Akin asserted "the liberal elite" are trying to "keep a strong, pro-life conservative out of the U.S. Senate." The email seeking $5 contributions also criticized his own party establishment, saying: "I have learned that many in the political class will duck and run for cover when faced with the slightest bit of adversity."

If he stays on the ballot, Akin will have to rebuild without any money from the national party and with new misgivings among rank-and-file Republican voters who just two weeks ago propelled him to a comfortable victory in a hotly contested three-way primary.

"I'm in this race for the long haul, and we're going to win it," he told radio host Dana Loesch in St. Louis.

Akin appealed to evangelicals directly during his interview with Huckabee, making allusions to the 9/11 terrorist attacks and focusing on the idea he had only misplaced a single word during a Sunday interview with St. Louis television station KTVI.

But Akin has been roundly criticized both for using the words "legitimate rape" and saying a woman's body has the ability to prevent conception after such an attack.

Hours earlier, Akin posted an online video in which he apologized again for his remarks. Campaign spokesman Ryan Hite said the apology was intended to cover the reference to "legitimate rape" and Akin's assertion that rape victims have a natural defense against pregnancy. The video will run as a 30-second ad on TV stations statewide for several days, Hite said.

Tuesday was the final day in which Akin could withdraw from the race without a court order. As the 5 p.m. deadline to withdraw neared, Republican leaders intensified their pressure on Akin to exit.

Sen. Roy Blunt issued a joint statement Tuesday with all four of Missouri's living former Republican senators ? John Ashcroft, Kit Bond, Jim Talent and John Danforth ? saying "it serves the national interest" for Akin to step aside.

Pointing to the group, Romney said the congressman should "accept their counsel."

A Romney aide said the candidate had been inclined to let Akin make the decision on his own. But after the Missouri lawmakers called for Akin to go, Romney wanted to make his position clear, said the aide, who requested anonymity because the aide was not authorized to publicly discuss Romney's thinking.

Akin provoked the political uproar when he was asked in the KTVI interview whether his general opposition to abortion extends to women who have been raped.

"It seems to me, first of all, from what I understand from doctors, that's really rare. If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down," Akin said.

It's not clear if Akin's campaign will have the financial support to wage a prolonged advertising battle against McCaskill in the expensive St. Louis and Kansas City markets and the Republican-rich area of southwest Missouri.

The campaign arm of the Senate Republicans has already withdrawn $5 million in advertising planned for the Missouri race. The Karl Rove-backed Crossroads organization pulled its ads too. A fundraiser planned in Washington for next month was called off after all of the dozen GOP senators who had agreed to participate pulled out.

Crossroads President and CEO Steven Law suggested Tuesday that Akin was potentially helping Democrats retain their Senate majority by remaining in the race.

"The stakes in this election are far bigger than any one individual," said Brian Walsh, a spokesman for the National Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee. By staying in the race, Akin "is putting at great risk many of the issues that he and others in the Republican Party are fighting for."

Without that financial backing, Akin will need the support of social conservatives, who have formed his political base through a 12-year congressional career.

Noreen McCann, who lives in the same suburban St. Louis area as Akin, said Tuesday that his rape comment hasn't weakened her support for him. McCann expressed frustration that Akin was being publicly flayed for his ill-chosen words while other Democrats ? specifically President Bill Clinton ? have survived scandals that included accusations of sexual impropriety and lies.

Akin "is a man of principle. I trust and respect his integrity and his commitment to defending American values," said McCann, who had passed out Akin fliers on primary election day. "I think he wants to defend all innocent human life. If he misspoke, or it was in the wrong context, that is not a major problem for me."

But other Missouri Republicans are second-guessing their support for Akin.

Steven and Carolyn Sipes, a pair of retired public school teachers who are GOP committee members in southwest Missouri's Christian County, both voted for Akin in the primary. Carolyn is now doing some soul-searching prayer about whether Akin remains the best choice. Her husband believes Republicans would have a better shot of unseating McCaskill without Akin.

"If he decides to stay in, I'll back him to the hilt," Steven Sipes said. But "I think it would be better probably if he did drop out at this point. He's getting a lot of negative publicity."

Akin's campaign released an open letter Tuesday from Jack Willke, former president of the U.S. National Right to Life Committee, stating he was "outraged at how quickly Republican leaders have deserted" Akin.

Akin "remains a strong and courageous pro-life leader ? and awkward wording in one sound bite doesn't negate that," Willke's statement said.

Sanctuary chimps show high rates of drug-resistant staph

ScienceDaily (Aug. 21, 2012) ? Chimpanzees from African sanctuaries carry drug-resistant, human-associated strains of the bacteria Staphlyococcus aureus, a pathogen that the infected chimpanzees could spread to endangered wild ape populations if they were reintroduced to their natural habitat, a new study shows.

The study by veterinarians, microbiologists and ecologists was the first to apply the same modern sequencing technology of bacterial genomes used in hospitals to track the transmission of staph from humans to African wildlife. The results were published August 21 by the American Journal of Primatology.

Drug-resistant staph was found in 36 chimpanzees, or 58 percent of those tested at two sanctuaries, located in Uganda and Zambia. Nearly 10 percent of the staph cases in chimpanzees showed signs of multi-drug resistance, the most dangerous and hard to cure form of the pathogen.

"One of the biggest threats to wild apes is the risk of acquiring novel pathogens from humans," says study co-author Thomas Gillespie, a primate disease ecologist at Emory University.

The study was led by Fabian Leendertz, the head of emerging zoonosis at the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin. Other co-authors were from the University Hospital Munster in Germany, the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Uganda and the Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage in Zambia.

Antibiotic resistance is rare in wild apes, with only one case of drug-resistant staph ever identified in them, Gillespie notes. That's a stark contrast to ape sanctuaries, where necessary close contact with human caretakers promotes cross-species pathogen transmission.

"We thought that our study would find some pathogen transmission from humans to the apes, but we were surprised at the prevalence of drug-resistant staph we found in the animals," Gillespie says. "It mirrors some of the worst-case scenarios in U.S. hospitals and nursing homes."

Multi-drug resistant staph is a major human health problem, causing an estimated 94,000 life-threatening infections and more than 18,000 deaths annually in the United States alone. It's unclear the magnitude of the effect the disease could have if accidentally introduced to populations of na?ve wild apes.

The researchers hope that their findings influence the policies at ape sanctuaries, since many of them are under growing pressure to reintroduce rescued animals to the wild.

Sanctuaries serve an important function at the interface of animal welfare and species conservation, Gillespie says. "Both animal welfare and conservation are ethical imperatives, but what promotes one does not inevitably benefit the other. That's just one of the many things that we're learning as we work to conserve and care for chimpanzees."

The prevalence of drug-resistant staph in sanctuary chimpanzees may also pose a risk to humans, Gillespie says, due to the close genetic relationship between primates and people.

"The chimpanzee may serve as an incubator where the pathogen can adapt and evolve, and perhaps jump back to humans in a more virulent form," he says.

The booming human population in sub-Saharan Africa, and the resulting overlap of human activity in wild primate habitats, increases the risk of such cross-species transmission of pathogens, the researchers warn.

LPA1 inhibition induces metastatic dormancy in mouse models of breast cancer

A lysophosphatidic acid receptor 1 (LPAR1) inhibitor, known as Debio-0719, suppresses the development of metastases in mice by inducing cancer cell dormancy, according to a study published August 21 in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.

Metastasis is a main contributor to mortality in cancer patients. Patients with "triple negative" breast cancer (tumor cells that are hormone receptor negative and express normal levels of the HER2 oncogene) are known to be at high risk for metastatic progression.

In addition, breast and prostate cancers are known for having variable but possibly long periods of dormancy, where the disease is silent. Factors inducing or breaking a dormant state are poorly understood, but extending dormancy is considered a therapeutic goal.

To determine the effects of LPA1 inhibition on metastatic dormancy, Jean-Claude A. Marshall, MSc., Ph.D. of the Women's Cancers Section, Laboratory of Molecular Pharmacology, Center for Cancer Research, NCI, and colleagues analyzed primary tumor size, distant metastases and their molecular characteristics in two model systems of aggressive "triple negative" breast cancer metastasis, the murine 4T1 mammary carcinoma model and human MDA-MB-231 human breast carcinoma model. Debio-0719 or shRNA knockdown of LPA1 significantly inhibited metastasis formation without affecting primary tumor size. Tumor cells found in distant organs, such as the lungs and liver of Debio-0719 treated mice, had ceased proliferation and exhibited other molecular hallmarks of dormancy. LPA1 inhibition represents one of the first compounds to induce dormancy in metastatic sites in triple negative breast cancer.

The authors point out that LPA1 inhibition had no effect on the growth of the primary tumors in either model system. As such, it would not normally be considered further for drug development. Their data suggest that alternative drug development approaches may identify compounds with novel activities, such as metastatic dormancy.

The authors point out that their study did not determine the duration of tumor dormancy, and that Debio-0719 and other LPA1 inhibitors should be tested in additional model systems. However, they conclude: "With such inhibitors in hand, the interaction of dormancy pathways and standard of care therapeutics, radiation therapy, patient stress, and other important factors can be determined to develop a deeper picture of potential preventative and therapeutic scenarios."

The first ant methylomes uncover the relationship between DNA methylation and caste differentiation

An international team led by New York University School of Medicine and BGI, the largest genomics organization in the world, has completed the first genome-wide and single-nucleotide resolution DNA methylomes of two ant species: Camponotus floridanus and Harpegnathos saltator. It provides new insights into the relationship between epigenetic regulation and caste differentiation of ants and also shed light on the epigenetic mechanism involved in social behavior, neurobiology and life-span of other animals. The latest study was published in Current Biology.

As one of the eusocial species, ants live in a society with strict hierarchy. Their colony members show extreme phenotypic plasticity, usually varying in morphology, behavior and physiology. The two ant species used in this study, C. floridanus and H. saltator, contrast in their behavioral flexibility, caste specialization, and social organization. C. floridanus lives in large organized colonies, in which only the queen lays fertilized eggs; when the queen dies, so does the colony. Non-reproductive individuals belong to two separate castes, major and minor workers, which exhibit differences in morphology and behavior established during development purely on environmental grounds. In contrast, the H. saltatorsocial system and division of labor are more basal: dimorphism between queens and workers is limited, and when the queen dies she is replaced by workers that become functional queens, called gamergates. Thus, these two ant species provide compelling experimental paradigms to investigate epigenetic processes that affect organisms as a whole.

In this study, the researchers sequenced and analyzed the methylomes of different castes and different developmental stages of C. floridanus and H. saltator. They reported that, in the ant genomes, methylcytosines are found both in symmetric CG dinucleotides (CpG) and non-CpG contexts and are strongly enriched at exons of active genes. The authors also indicated that the presence of non-CpG methylation in adult ants was unexpected, as non-CG methylation was only found in mouse and human embryonic stem cells (ESCs) previously, and this suggests the possibility of biologically functional non-CpG methylation in ants. In addition, their comparative analysis also suggested that an exonic DNA methylation pattern may correlate with alternative splicing events, such as exon skipping and alternative splice site selection.

Although C. floridanus and H. saltatordiverged from each other over 100 million years ago, researchers found that several genes displaying caste-specific and developmental changes in DNA methylation were conserved between the two species, including genes involved in reproduction, telomere maintenance, and non-coding RNA metabolism. In vertebrates, allele-specific DNA methylation (ASM) underpins some important epigenetic phenomena such as parental imprinting, while it has not been reported in invertebrates yet. In this study, researchers found several loci are methylated and expressed monoallelically, and in some cases, the choice of methylated allele depends on the caste. "The discovery of ASM in ants opens a new way for investigating the roles of DNA methylation in shaping caste identity and social behavior." said Qiye Li, Project Manager from BGI.

Dr. Roberto Bonasio, geneticist from New York University School of Medicine, said, "This is the first study on genome-wide DNA methylation in ants. Given the remarkable phenotypic diversity between workers and queens, which ranges from behavior to longevity, epigenetic processes must play a central role in determining each ant's identity and its role within the colony. These first epigenetic maps will help understand how the same genome can give rise to the different castes that compose ant societies."

Qiye Li added, "This study is another important breakthrough after the two ant genomes previously published in Science (http://www.sciencemag.org/content/329/5995/1068.abstract). Through the comprehensive comparison and analysis, we found many conserved and interesting methylation patterns, and demonstrated the importance of DNA methylation in caste differentiation. In the next studies, we'll continue to explore the effects of other regulatory mechanisms on caste differentiation of ants, such as RNA editing and non-coding RNAs."

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) ? Jurors began deliberating Wednesday in a multibillion dollar patent infringement case pitting Apple against Samsung over the design of iPhones and iPads ? but few experts were expecting a quick verdict.

After a three-week federal trial in San Jose, a jury of seven men and two women picked from a pool of Silicon Valley residents will try to decide if Samsung Electronics Co. ripped off Apple Inc. designs or whether Apple wronged Samsung.

With so much money and market clout at stake, a decision likely won't come anytime soon, according to jury experts, attorneys and courtroom observers.

"This case has huge implications," said University of Notre Dame Law Professor Mark P. McKenna. "It could result in injunctions against both companies" involving the sales of products.

It took the judge more than two hours to read the 109 pages of instructions to the jury. As a verdict is reached, jurors must fill out a 20-page form that includes dozens of check-off boxes.

"The verdict form is crazy," said Karen Lisko, who runs a jury consulting company that specializes in patent trials. "It's incredibly complicated."

Jurors have several different smartphones and computer tablets in the jury room to help them determine which device is alleged to have violated what patent.

Apple argues that Samsung should pay the Cupertino-based company $2.5 billion for ripping off its iPhone and iPad technology when it marketed competing devices.

Attorneys for Samsung asked the jury to award it $399 million after claiming Apple used Samsung technology without proper compensation.

Lisko said it could take the jury an entire day just to devise a routine and system to sift through the facts and began actual deliberations.

"The first day is usually very messy," she said.

It took jurors more than a week to reach a verdict in another major patent case, Google v. Oracle. That San Francisco panel decided in May that Google did infringe Oracle's patents related to the Java computer language, but the panel awarded no damages after it couldn't come to a unanimous agreement on several other points.

During closing arguments Tuesday, Apple attorney Harold McElhinny said Samsung was having a "crisis of design" after the launch of the iPhone, and executives with the South Korean company were determined to illegally cash in on the success of the revolutionary device.

Samsung's lawyer countered that the technology giant was simply and legally giving consumers what they want: Smart phones with big screens. They say they didn't violate any of Apple's patents and further claimed that Apple's claimed innovations were actually created by other companies.

The case went to the jury after last-minute talks between chief executives failed to resolve the dispute.

ScienceDaily (Aug. 22, 2012) ? The radula sounds like something from a horror movie -- a conveyor belt lined with hundreds of rows of interlocking teeth. In fact, radulas are found in the mouths of most molluscs, from the giant squid to the garden snail. Now, a "prototype" radula found in 500-million-year-old fossils studied by University of Toronto graduate student Martin Smith, shows that the earliest radula was not a flesh-rasping terror, but a tool for humbly scooping food from the muddy sea floor.

The Cambrian animals Odontogriphus and Wiwaxia might not have been much to look at -- the former a naked slug, the latter a creeping bottom-dweller covered with spines and scales. Despite the hundreds of fossil specimens collected from the Canadian Rockies by the Royal Ontario Museum, scientists could not agree whether they represented early molluscs, relatives of the earthworm, or an evolutionary dead-end. Smith, a PhD candidate in U of T's Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and author of a study published this week in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, employed a new, non-destructive type of Electron Microscopy to reveal the new details.

"I put the fossils in the microscope, and the mouth parts just leaped out," says Smith, a PhD candidate in U of T's Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. "You could see details you'd never guess were there if you just had a normal microscope."

After examining some 300 fossils, Smith was able not just to reconstruct the mouthparts, but work out how they grew. "The fossils are squashed completely flat, which makes them really hard to reconstruct in 3D," says Smith. "I surrounded myself with micrographs of the mouth parts and lumps of plasticine, and spent weeks trying to come up with a model that made sense of the fossils."

The new observations demonstrated that the mouthparts consisted of two to three rows of 17 similarly-shaped teeth, with a symmetrical central tooth and smaller teeth on the edges. The teeth would have moved round the end of a tongue in the conveyor-belt fashion seen in molluscs today, scooping food -- algae or detritus -- from the muddy sea floor. By establishing how the teeth were arranged, moved, grew, and were replaced, Smith was able to demonstrate that they formed a shorter and squatter forerunner to the modern radula.

"When I set out, I just hoped to be a bit closer to knowing what these mysterious fossils were," says Smith. "Now, with this picture of the earliest radula, we are one step closer to understanding where the molluscs came from and how they became so successful today."

Getting Aggressive

Take a close look at the companies that Buffett added to and cut back.

Today, over half of Berkshire?s portfolio is weighted in either financials or technology.

These aren?t industries to invest in when the roof is about to cave in.

It was replaced for the most part by none other than DirecTV, the No. 1 provider of satellite television in the United States and Latin America.

I?d bet DirecTV isn?t a company you?d normally consider in today?s market environment.

But you may be surprised to know that the company is up a solid 19% this year alone.

And it?s exactly the kind of gem I described above.

DirecTV is growing sales at 9.5% per quarter, its overall customer base is growing, it?s buying back shares, its earnings and margins are expanding, and it?s looking to tap into new industries such as the broadband wireless market in Brazil.

Berkshire?s aggressive moves in its 13F filing seem to indicate that Buffett feels U.S. consumer discretionary stocks are cheap and the recovery is about to pick up.

But Buffett is just one example.

You can follow the moves of any big-time money manager who better reflects how you feel about the economy and the markets with 13F filings.

John Paulson and George Soros are two of the most famous examples of money managers putting their money into gold assets instead of U.S. equities.

Either way, 13Fs are a great tool to find out where the big players in the market are putting their cash today.
